I waited until I’d done a handful of rides before reviewing this simply excellent product. Quality is better than the Specialized cups, complete with O ring seals. So far, no creaking at all. I am delighted with this product. The added adjustability for my Levo head angle is great. I run mine low & slack, but found the 63 degree head angle gave slow steering. Running at 63.5 has cured that. Of note, the cup is a little more shallow than the Specialized one & you may need to add 2mm of headset spacers. Customer service was amazing.

Before trying the Feral cup, it was like wearing shoes just a half-size too small—close, but not quite right. Then came the switch, and boom! Suddenly everything clicked. It's like slipping into the perfect fit and realizing you've been missing out. Now I’m grinning like the Joker— fun factor unlocked.

Testing some shiny new parts on the StEVO today.

Feral MTB Components -0.5 degree cup. Definitely noticed that tipping into steep shoots was easier and gave me a lot more confidence. Quality seems great & super easy to install.

Unite Co 160mm crankset in raw. Zero pedal strikes on rocky trails today. Slightly regretting not getting the 155mm version.

I got the headcup installed without issue and went for a ride today. Installation was easy and all the components of the headset fit in snuggly. It seemed about the same quality as the Specialized provided adjuster headcup. I'm very happy with the performance after one ride. No creeks and very smooth steering action. I went with the steeper setting (65deg) and am loving it. The stock 64.5deg was a little too slack for me because I felt like it sterilized intermediate trails and had a little too much 'flop' feeling while turning, for my taste. I tried the 65.5deg cup provided by specialized, but then it felt just a touch too steep for slow drops on descents. Now with your headcup (65deg) I find it as a really good compromise of the traits I want in a bike (plus I over filled the fork by about 5 psi). I come from a xc background, and I still do enjoy the more responsive feel on the trail, but I live in Colorado so there are a lot of steep and technical trails. I'm looking forward to trying it out on a more technical trail.

I found your website by google searching "specialized stumpjumper evo 0.5 degree headset adjustment." I was honestly very surprised to see that someone made it! The specialized supplied headcup is too big of a change in my opinion. You wouldn't think 0.5-1.0 degrees would make a noticeable difference but it sure does.
